English Musical 2011
Welcome to the website of the Project Messiah. This is the sixth English musical performed by students of Shatin Pui Ying College.
We firmly believe that arts education enables young people to learn to observe the world, explore difficult questions, experience life, express themselves, work with others and become responsible persons. The variety of aesthetic encounters nourish their souls and enrich their existence. The production of our school English musical is founded exactly on this belief. It is essentially pertinent to a holistic development of their moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual capacities.
The biennial musical production of Shatin Pui Ying College since 2000 has already become a school tradition.
"Project Messiah" is the sixth English musical performed by students of Shatin Pui Ying College. This musical production - music, dances, sets and props - is a joint creation of our students, alumni, teachers and parents. The script and songs are original works, while parents are involved in making the costumes.

我們深信藝術教育有助年輕人學習觀察、探索、體驗、表達、合作及培養責任感，亦能讓他們藉種種美感經驗得到心靈上的滋潤，使人生更豐富多姿。我校的英語音樂劇正好建基於這個信念，讓學生在德、智、體、群、美、靈各方面盡顯所長。
自二零零零年開始，每兩年一度的英語音樂劇，已成為了沙田培英中學的一項傳統。
“Project Messiah” 已是沙田培英中學第六齣的英語音樂劇。此音樂劇由本校老師、學生及家長共同策劃。劇本由學生親自執筆，所有歌曲均是原創，大部份由 學生創作，其餘則由 舊生及 老師編寫。 家長參與縫製戲服，而舞台設計及佈景製作等亦是由師生共同創作。
